Pokegama trail trailhead in Superior, Wisconsin

This route is roughly a 7-mile ride in total. The singletrack is roughly 4 miles in length, plus 3 or 4 miles to return (depending on whether you come back the way you came or on the gravel road).

START: Look for the singletrack where it enters the woods on the north side of the highway ("Central Ave" a.k.a. Hwy 105), directly across from a small cemetery access driveway. Right away the rolling, twisting singletrack delves deep into a birch forest.

TRAIL: Overall, the trail is somewhat technical - not necessarily a smoothly flowing-roller coaster. As the trail progresses, you'll encounter numerous quick drops and short punchy climbs while making your way to where the trail dips to a boardwalk creek-crossing.
